Kaziranga Breaks Tourism Records as Foreign Tourist Footfall Reaches Historic High
Kaziranga National Park has reached an all-time record for foreign visitor numbers, representing a watershed moment for wildlife tourism in Assam. In just the first three months of the 2025–26 season, up to December 27, more than 146,000 people visited the park; with around 6,700 of those were foreign visitors - this represents more than three times the number recorded two years ago, and the highest international footfall Kaziranga has ever see respectively.
